Hi guys just wondering has anyone got 2 accounts with KBank one just for visa money and one for every day use thanks
Answer summary
Many expats in Thailand have opted for two bank accounts: one dedicated to holding the required funds for visa purposes (usually 800,000 THB) and another for daily expenses. This strategy helps in managing funds effectively while meeting immigration requirements. Users have shared their experiences with different banks such as KBank, Krungthai, and Kasikorn, emphasizing the ease of transferring money and the importance of having a separate account to avoid issues with visa extensions.

I have 2 accounts at Krungthai and have no problems transferring from my US banks to either account via my US bank app. Also no problems transferring between both accounts either way at Krungthai.
Yes, one is fixed deposit 800K. The immigration officer love it because concise statement. Also have another accounts in different bank for alternative use.
