The thread discusses whether CW (likely referring to the Chiang Mai immigration office) is open or closed on the public holidays of Songkran, specifically on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of April. It confirms that despite these dates being traditional holidays, CW is operating normally this year with no closures. Comments indicate that Songkran festivities will not affect government services.

There is no holiday closure for CW this year, and should be viewed as a normal working day. Because of this, I'm closing comments. If one of the other mods think it needs to reopen, they can reopen it.

didn't the government announce that these are now regular working days?

Given that Songkran is a RELIGIOUS holiday, and only the water fights have been canceled, and the banks will still be closed, I will assume that CW will be closed on those dates.

it means they are regular days now, pretty clear to me; it was also reported in other news sources
These are the Days of the Official Public holidays during Songkran.
I would say prepare that all is closed.
That people are asked not to trow water at each other in big parties on the street has nothing to do with closure of Government offices due to National holiday.
Songkran is not cancelled.
