How was your experience getting the first extension of your education visa in Chiang Mai?

Just back from 3 hours in CM immigration where first extension of education visa was granted.

Many, many thanks to the army of volunteers (especially tall, grey haired American man whose name I have sadly forgotten, apologies, I blame the stress). The infinite patience shown by these people in stifling heat, answering every question (however ridiculous) is a great testament to the kindness of the human race and spirit of those willing to give up their time to help others.
