Arrived this morning on my second DTV entry. I entered the DTV visa number when I filled out the TDAC online so it was just hand over the passport, stamp and go. Took 30 seconds to go through. IO scans passport and the DTV visa shows up on screen. Fast

Any time you don't hand over the visa, you risk being stamped incorrectly. Entering a visa number on the TDAC is not relevant to anything. The only the thing officer sees is that you submitted a TDAC. If they don't take the time to dig through your file to find your visa, there's a fair chance of being stamped in 60 days visa exempt out of habit like they do all day long for 95% of people.
