How long does it take to receive approval for a Destination Thailand visa from the Chicago office, and is it advisable to change my flight to July 23rd before approval?

Submitting my DTV- Destination Thailand visa on June 23rd-  I have all the required information however, I know they can be finicky…. Applying in the Chicago office, USA…

My ticket to Thailand is on July 31, which gives me enough time to provide additional documentation if needed.

Two questions:

Genuinely how long does it take to receive an approval or denial?    

I was thinking you might changing my flight to the 23rd of July-  too early?

Destination Thailand Visa, not digital.

Most embassies in the US state a 15 business day processing time for visa applications. If there are problems with your application and they ask you for additional information, that can reset the processing time. But 15 days is just the worst case scenario, some are much faster.
