This is not a visa post but would like some insight (apologies if it has been asked before, I couldn't find ample info)
I have 2 shots from another country (Indonesia) and am looking to get a booster here in Thailand.
Does anyone know if I get a booster shot here, I can get my foreign shots registered onto the Thai system and obtain a QR code for ALL my shots (including the previous two in Indonesia - not just the booster I get in Bangkok?)
This is to know if those QR codes would then be applicable for my Thailand Pass as I need to exit and re-enter the country. I remember my Thailand pass took quite some days to be approved last time as the Indonesian ones do not have a QR code.
Thanks in advance!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The query concerns the possibility of registering foreign COVID-19 vaccine shots taken in another country (Indonesia) onto the Thai vaccination system after receiving a booster shot in Thailand. The general consensus from the comments is that one cannot register non-Thai vaccines with the Thai system. Several users reported getting booster shots in Thailand and receiving a QR code for that shot only, without the ability to add previous foreign vaccinations to the system. Therefore, it seems that receiving a booster in Thailand would not allow for the registration of foreign vaccine shots, and users would need to manage separate certificates for their vaccine records.
