Hi guys, staying in Thailand from July 3 - 2024 to January 27 - 2025, with two exits of 10 and 2 days in 2024, isn’t considered a tax resident in Thailand, right? Because in 2024 doesn’t exceed 180 days, and neither in 2025.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether they would be classified as a tax resident in Thailand based on their stay from July 3, 2024, to January 27, 2025, which includes two exits, provided their total stay in 2024 does not exceed 180 days. The community confirms that, as long as the individual does not exceed 180 days of presence in Thailand within the tax year (January 1 to December 31), they will not be deemed a tax resident.

Tax year runs from 1st January till 31st december --- if you stay more than 180 days between those dates your classed as a tax resident
