Just did it recently. Train to Malaysia. Stayed 10 sleeps. Air from KL back to Swampy. Great in Malaysia, no dogs - at all!

30 days, yes, and just yesterday got another 30 days as an extension from immigration.

Thats a border bounce for a visa exemption. So not an actual visa. Visa run refers to going to another country to apply for an actual visa via said country’s Thai embassy or consulate

only 30 days. Exit and then comeback on the same day to thailand.

You mean a border bounce to get a new Visa Exempt entry not a Visa Run to the Embassy to purchase a new Visa. Correct terminology is key with such issues to get the right information.
