I would like to apply for a spouse dependent visa of my husband DTV at the Thai embassy in Vientiane, Laos.
What do I need and how long does it take?
I will show my own Thai bank account that already has more than 500,000 THB for 6 months.
I already have a notary for my marriage contract.
Normally, what other documents need to be submitted for additional requests?
Do I need to sit an interview?
Please help me to answer if you have any related information. Thank you

With the recent rejections involving people applying with Thai bank accounts, I honestly think it’s risky. Last year, several banks closed tourists’ accounts and stopped opening new ones for tourist visa holders, and DTV is technically a tourist visa.
So the embassy might question how you even have a Thai bank account as a tourist, especially if you’ve been there for 6 months already. I think it’s pretty risky.
There have been reports in the group posts about problems when presenting a Thai bank account for proof of funds, being asked to show that the funds came from a foreign source
