TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the rules and restrictions when bringing a memorabilia and art collection to Thailand, highlighting the use of a freight forwarder to navigate customs fees and laws. It also suggests that items should be aggregated with other shipments for cost efficiency, and humorously notes that certain war memorabilia may not be welcomed.
No Thailand experience but other countries including SE Asia yes. Use a freight forwarder. There’ll school you up on all customs fees/laws. Also while at it as it’s memorabilia you’re not in a hurry. So allow them to take longer and aggregate your 20’ container with others. Suggest an ETA if you want. Don’t bring furniture - condos are fully furnished
