TLDR : Answer Summary
The community offers several recommendations for dentists specializing in tooth implants in Bangkok and Pattaya. Notable mentions include BIDC (Bangkok International Dental Clinic), TDH Canvas in Ploenchit, and the German Dental Clinic for their high-quality services. Additionally, several comments suggest considering clinics in Pattaya like Dental Smile and Dental Design. The quality of services, as well as expenses, are discussed, along with some dentists being US-trained or offering unique payment options. The importance of researching and choosing quality providers in Thailand is emphasized.
I would go to BIDC, whilst they’re not the cheapest, you’re looking at major work which would be expensive to have put right if it’s not done properly.
Shop around some dentist in BKK charge upwards to 50,000 baht for a implant. I found that Dio Dental only charges 25,000 baht. They even let you pay as you go. First step is the anchor which takes 3 months to heal over after placement and then the crown will be cast and attached. So like pay for step one then pay the balance after the implant is completed. Good luck.
If it were me, I would fly to the states and have mini implants. Simpler quicker cheaper and FDA approved and lasts a very long time. Its the future, just not enough dentists offering it...its not as profitable as traditional implants. Perfect for both jaws and obviates the neccessity for bone transplants.
Who says? Lots of hollywood stars are sporting the whole set or are you just parroting what the dentists who are not trained tell you. They use the same titanium screwed into bone. The only difference is the thickness of the peg and being titanium its incredibly strong. They can last over 20 yrs with good care. Given that they are done in a day and cost about 15% of the cost of a traditional implant, and its one day instead of up to 9 months Its not as clear cut as you would suggest.
Bangkok International Dental Clinic (BIDC) is very good; one company with 6 floors of dentists each specializing. Not the cheapest, but very modern. I've had several implants there and been very happy. The guy who does my implants was US trained and certified, as are many of the other dentists there.
