Do I need to deposit money into a Thai bank now for my Non Imm Multiple O-A visa, or can I wait until closer to the end of my second year?

US citizen. Non Imm Multiple O-A. Acquired in US. Valid until Sept 11, 2019. 2 questions. 1. Do I need to put $ into a Thai bank now? Or can I wait until a few months prior to the end of my second year? 2. Along the same lines, I plan to leave Thailand at the end of August to get stamped in for my second year.
