TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about workout options near Yanhee Hospital in Bangkok, seeking alternatives to Muay Thai for fitness programs such as boot camps or personal training. Responses point out that typical fitness options may include gym facilities at Muay Thai schools or alternative programs, but there's concern regarding visa issues related to not participating in traditional Thai activities.

If you are looking for a DTv. You need to do something of Thai tradition. Muay Thai. Thai culinary arts . Or to learn the Thai language. This is called Thai soft power and it falls into the dtv category. However if you want to just use fitness gyms you won't be granted a DTv.. so maybe look at a different type of visa. Non o. Or metv. Depends how long you want to stay ... I hope this helps.

Tiger MT in Phuket have a special weight loss program, and I would bet my back teeth they are DTV approved (for MT) I suspect an email to them might be fruitful.

Find a different visa. This one ain’t for you.

This flood of rejections is from intense scrutiny because people who don’t want to do the soft power activities are trying to use the visa.

Guys I train with every day at the gym are getting rejected because of retards trying to cheat the system.

James Smith no. I won’t be quiet. Y’all are the reason the tourism visa is getting hammered and you’ll ruin all that’s left of the DTV as well.

Just apply for a visa you qualify for. It’s not hard and it’s not asking a lot.

Oh please be quiet. 99 percent of the soft DTV are doing it for the visa, not because they want to learn must Thai or Thai cooking.

You can message different muay thai gyms ( the ones who have normal gym facilities too) if they could compromise and give you credit instead to use gym membership and personal trainers) Is it legal? I guess not but it doesn't hurt anyone. Gyms still get your money and you get the wanted training. Before anyone comes at me, let's be honest a lot of thing here are corrupted. For examle the "fast track service" you pay agent to bribe the immigration to get you through immigration if you might have issues.

Anonymous participant you have the wrong impression of what is offered at a Muay Thai gym. You can do the exact workout/fitness routine you are looking for. The good gyms work at your pace, and patterned to what you want. Do not get the impression you must learn Muay Thai, and do extreme workouts. Most that have the dtv based on Muay Thai don't even go to school.

Thanks I mean I am open minded to a program if it’s lightly Muay Thai introduction with mostly working out. Muay Thai seems intimating but intriguing lol i feel like such an effeminate gay guy I feel really out of place doing that but would be nice to break out of my comfort zone (except im weary of signing up for something I wouldn’t end up liking)

Short answer is NO. If you wanna go to gym, you can go to whatever country you prefer. They have chosen Muay Thai cuz it's something typical of Thailand.
