Just a heads up, IF you try to make a post and it is declined READ the notes in the declination as many times I tell people to check their messages in Messenger and have messaged them either the answer they were seeking OR asked a question so they could re-write their post and it could get on the group..
It's not that I don't want you people to post your questions, I want you people to get good, accurate answers to what you're asking. Sadly sometimes posts are just not clear enough and I don't want the thread to turn into a slow motion train wreck of bad/mis- information :(
It's nothing personal when a thread is declined and if I can help either get it so it can be allowed on the group or give you the answer I usually message people
One thing to remember you can't mention agents/agencies, solicitors/lawyers on the group, not even in passing. The group has a zero tolerance for it and your post isn't gonna get on.
If you are referring to the immigration OFFICER at an office who told you something don't say "the agent told me" as that will get flagged and not get on :)
Best of luck in your entry/visa/extension endeavors here in the glorious "Land 'O Thaiz" (y)
I wanted to express my infinite gratitude towards the admins who day after day honestly stun me with the sheer amount of knowledge that they have, and the sheer determination to help others. You are great, and I've posted here once or twice but I do read up on most topics and your answers. I think it's useful for people living here to be aware of the overall visa conditions in Thailand. Not once or twice a post with Tod's answer has given me very valuable information that prevented me from making a visa/immigration mistake in the future.
With the above in mind, I know this is not a strictly visa related post, so you can lock it up, but I wanted to share a suggestion. I'm not sure what are the capabilities of running a Facebook group, but it would be immensely helpful if you "pin" a post on top, and let that post contain an FAQ with your answers on typical questions. For the sake of making your life easier (the admins), it's better to make a long "stickied on top" post with URLs from past posts where you very clearly given answers to common questions. I think by putting this on top, and asking each individual to go through the post before posting a question, will help you very much and cut down your work in half.
Thank you again for everything you're doing! We all appreciate it!
