ORIGINAL POSTERim a bit confused. would appreciate any help:
1. does the currency of the bank account have to be the same as in the place you're applying from?
2. do you physically have to be in the place you're applying from, or is it okay to just be a citizen/resident? ive been a resident in italy for the last year in an education program (not a citizen), but i might want to apply from the US (citizen). however I'm not keen on paying 1000+ on flight tickets home just to leave again...

So I’m planning to be in Thailand for a month, 2 weeks vacation and the other 2 weeks working remotely. I would like some clarification that I would need the DTV to work for those 2 weeks?
