Hopefully someone finds this helpful...
Yesterday, I popped into the Chakrit Muay Thai School (Bangkok) to enquirer about their ED course and was informed by the owner - via a friend who can speak Thai - that the course was currently not available. Apparently, the MOE had asked for the course to be 'reconstructed'; adding more lessons. As was told to me, the MOE had felt that the 2 days per week were more of a hobby, less of a course, and now the owner was submitting to them a scenario of 5 days per week. I have no idea how much of this is correct but, if I hear of anything new, I will report it back to the group.
I would be interested to know if anyone else has heard of a similar scenario with the 2 other schools based in Bangkok.
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the current status of the ED course at Chakrit Muay Thai School in Bangkok and learned from the owner that it is currently unavailable due to a request from the Ministry of Education (MOE) for the course to be restructured. This involves increasing the frequency of classes from 2 days a week to 5 days a week to meet educational standards. The user invites others to share any similar experiences with other Muay Thai schools in Bangkok.
