TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the recent launch of Nordic Airlines' non-stop flights from Manchester to Bangkok, operating once a week as a seasonal route. Comments reveal varying opinions on the service quality, luggage policies, and pricing. Some travelers noted that while the airline is budget-friendly, it charges extra for checked luggage and other amenities. Comparisons with alternative airlines and their experiences highlight the differences between 'non-stop' and 'direct' flights.
Checked their prices only go up till early march at mo make sure you select hold baggage.. and for some reason £337 out £444 back why the big difference
Direct quite often has a stopover, but you don't change planes. Refuelling and some passenger changes. I got caught like that, paid for direct thinking it was non stop, couldn't believe it when we landed half way to Bangkok 😂
I flew back with Norse in December. BKK to Manchester.
If you read the reviews then yes they aren't great. I was also very cautious after what I read. But most are around strict luggage etc. If you read their guidelines and stick to them they are no problem at all.
It's no frills and as basic as it comes but for the price they charge what do people expect. I had no problems at all and would use them again.
no the post was they'd heard Nodic airlines had started doing none stop flights to Thailand i said id heard same about virgin that was my comment on the post
I have read about them on reviews only and so far I'll stick with my flights either through dubia or doha as the reviews weren't that good about this airline
I agree with your thoughts . If a Company cannot resolve a query /problem they do not inspire any confidence with potential customers to book a seat...
"regardless"!?? He received three direct answers all of which were accurate! If be choses to do it this way, so be it. If you choose to dribble and condemn someone for asking a question on a FB page that's been set up to give advice, so be it.
Been going since late last year only on a Wednesday for now. Price is higher than flying direct from Heathrow but bear in mind Nordic is a budget airline
I flew with indigo this time and both outbound flights were delayed when I go back in 2 months I have a 14 hour wait in New Delhi which I’m not looking forward to
unfortunately I flew in via New Delhi and understand your comment. I’m going to see if I can book an alternative flight back I don’t think I’ll enjoy a 14 hour layover there 😜😜😜😜
