Hi probably a silly question but are the immigration offices open on Christmas Day and the 26th of Dec please? Thanks

Answer summary

Yes, local Thai immigration offices will be open on Christmas Day (December 25) and December 26, 2025. Christmas is not recognized as a public holiday in Thailand, so immigration services will continue as normal.

Unfortunately, Thailand doesn't have a Christian culture and education....

If that were the case, it would be a more humane country.

which means that the first day in 2026 when Immigrations opens again after having been closed since Wednesday December 31st, will be Monday January 5th at 8:30 am . . so if you have something that needs to be urgently done, do it now
