FAO Admin.....before I scribe a post with possible typo etc I wanted to check if it's suitable for this group as I known sometimes people on here are very agreeable and helpful but I also know sometimes people are aggressively nasty in their comments to OP or others.

I am getting married in Surin and have just completed the first 3 stages as a UK citizen on a 60day tourist visa issued by the Thai embassy London vi's E visa online.

Stage 1 British Embassy Bangkok issue docs

Stage 2 translation and notorised of docs

Stage 3 Ministry of Foreign Affairs approve both 1&2 docs above and legalised the Embassy issued docs.

Stage 4 is to visit the Amphur (for me in Surin) for actual marriage ceremony and legalisation (seperate to the wedding in the family home) neither of which I have completed yet.

All 3 stages done without an agent and has been a journey of discovery in the process that I feel may help someone else.....I have more words to say on each stage obviously....especially how to find the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the 6th floor of centralwOrld in Bangkok 🤣

If you approve this post subject I'll write a little more detail on the stages and hope it can help someone who doesn't need to pay agents fees for the process.

TIA 🙏🇬🇧🇹🇭
