ORIGINAL POSTERI am an 1099 independent contractor/freelancer in US. I have had only one contract since I did contractor. The monthly income is minimal since I only need to work for them for a few hours each month. My main income source is from property rental. Am I eligible to apply for DTV? I am worried they will question my contractor income is not sufficient.

ORIGINAL POSTERI have an employment contract from 20.11.2024 (civil law contract, not b2b like most of you) for remote work from Poland (EU) in accounting (employer's consent and specified country in the contract). in the contract the gross amount (minimum salary) is about 1000 euros.
1) will such a contract go through? it's new
2) can they complain that the salary is too low?
