Asking for a friend who is visiting me in Thailand soon.

1. Are yellow fever cards requested by Thai authorities for travellers coming from Africa? Her whole family is vaccinated but one physical card has been lost. She has an electronic scan of it and we are wondering if this will be enough?

2. Do travellers coming from Africa, but transiting in Doha, need to pass by a special control or separate queue at BKK?

Do the recent restrictions on arrivals from African countries apply to the port of departure (ie flying from somewhere in Africa to Thailand) or to the passport of the traveller? For example, would the holder of an Egyptian passport be able to fly into Thailand from London and do Test & Go? 🙏
