New to this group, looking for advice for best and most easy way to plan trip.

Travelling from Ireland to Thailand 7th Dec. with Qatar airways, I am over 50 with Thai wife (UK marriage cert) want to stay for 90 days. My research shows many options.

1. Visa except 30 days + 60 days visit family extension.

2. TR visa 60 days + 30 day extension.

3. Non O 90 days based on marrige.

4. Special tourist visa (STV) 90 days

TLDR : Answer Summary
A member is seeking advice on the best visa options for a 90-day stay in Thailand, arriving from Ireland with a Thai spouse. The member outlines four potential visa options: 1) a combination of a 30-day visa plus a 60-day extension, 2) a TR visa for 60 days plus a 30-day extension, 3) a NON-O visa based on marriage for 90 days, and 4) a Special Tourist Visa for 90 days. Comments suggest that the NON-O visa is the preferred choice for those wanting to stay longer and build a life in Thailand, while the other options are suitable for shorter visits.

It all depends on your plans.

Option 1 and 2 are good if you actualy go back home in 90 days.

Option 3 is the best choise if you plan to stay and live in Thailand.

Option 4 is a good choice if you like to stay maximum 9 months and then go home.
