Thailand auto insurance:

I have Roojai insurance and have no problem with them, but looking at car road trips outside Thailand and they only offer insurance in Thailand. I want to take my personal car on road trips to Cambodia and Malaysia, and read that I will need car insurance for the boarder crossing. Is there a Thailand auto insurance company that also offers insurance outside of Thailand.

Thank in advance for helpful information

Malaysia: you can buy it at the bordel - only third party. No idea for Cambodia. Wouldn't it be tough with the driving on the other side given the crazy traffic on Cambodia?

I am American and have driven on each side in many countries so no problem for me. Last trip we flew Chiang Mai directly to Luang Prabang (took the slow boat up river to come home to Chiang Rai), and had to drive our rented scooter of other side). The roads are very bad still in Lao else I would have tried driving.

I don’t think I have first class insurance???

So far looks like I will be getting insurance at boarder but not finished looking.

I meant not the driving on the other but the wheel on the wrong side reducing visibility. It's ok when the traffic is normal but in Cambodia (or Thailand), I wouldn't like but it seems that you drive a motorbike so ofc no issue.

How did you buy it. Online or in-person. What docs/information did they ask for.

Good question, I wasn‘t aware that you‘re not insured outside Thailand with such a first class insurance, normally you are insured as well with such insurances. I‘ll have to check with Roojai as we also intend to drive outside Thailand like so many other drivers
