Considering DTV for Kung fu, instead of Muay Thai. Any recommendations on places that will sponsor?

Summary so far

The conversation discusses the possibility of obtaining a visa sponsorship for Kung Fu training in Thailand. Responses suggest that Kung Fu may not be recognized as a typical activity for sponsorship, unlike Muay Thai, which is considered a significant aspect of Thai culture and soft power. One commenter suggests looking for MMA gyms that might be more flexible.

Technically, no, that wouldn't work. But maybe you could find a gym that does MMA and work something out.

Kung-Fu likely wouldn’t be considered a Thai soft power activity.
