ORIGINAL POSTERHey, would anyone be able to clarify the definition of ‘spouse’ in Thai visa law for the DTV visa? Can you be married in Thailand or does it have to be in your home country? Is proof of the relationship enough or do you NEED a marriage certificate?
For context, my partner and I have been together for 15 years and have a daughter. We have previously held partner de facto visas in Australia where proof of the relationship is accepted as eg; child’s birth certificate, photos and written statements, and a marriage certificate was not required.
Any guidance will be much appreciated 🙏🏽
