DTV (medical) – how to structure TCM medical certificate for approval?

Hi everyone, I’m planning to apply for a DTV under the medical/wellness category and had a more specific question about documentation.

My case:

- ME/CFS for ~10 years

- Significant improvement only with TCM treatment at ChingLian clinic in Bangkok

- Already completed two shorter treatment visits (Jan + March-Apr)

- Planning a longer 3–6+ month treatment starting in June

Since this is a TCM clinic (not a hospital), I’m wondering how to best structure the medical certificate to improve approval chances.

Questions:

- What should the medical certificate include to be taken seriously by the embassy?

- How detailed should the diagnosis and treatment plan be?

- Is it important to frame it in a more “conventional medical” way?

If anyone has experience with DTV using non-hospital providers, I’d really appreciate your insights 🙏
