Hi guys, I need some advice regarding the DTV visa 🙏

I work as a freelancer (service-based work). My contracts are not tied to any specific location — it doesn’t matter where I perform the work.

The consulate has now requested confirmation from 3 of my clients — basically supporting letters stating that they are okay with me working remotely.

My questions are:

1️⃣ Is it enough to prove that I am a freelancer by providing contracts, invoices, and a description of my activity?

2️⃣ Or are client letters actually mandatory?

3️⃣ If letters are required — what format is usually accepted?

• free-form letter?

• company letterhead?

• signature / stamp required?

I’d really appreciate any real-life experience 🙌

Especially from those who applied for DTV as freelancers.

Can anyone provide a template of the best format for client letters and the cover letter? Not sure what they should state.
