Hello everyone. I am new to the group and have been in Thailand since August last year. I have a friend moving to Hua Hin later this month and he is inquiring about pain management drugs.
Are Tylenol 3, percoset, and/or vicodin available in Thailand?
Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the availability of pain management medications such as Tylenol 3, Percocet, and Vicodin in Thailand. Responses indicate that while serious pain medications can sometimes be obtained over the counter, caution is advised regarding specific ingredients like codeine, which may be restricted. Alternatives like tramadol and medicinal cannabis are mentioned as options for pain relief. It's recommended to check pharmacy requirements for prescriptions when seeking these medications.

Before you bring anything, check if it's on the restricted list. Anything with codeine, for instance!

You can get plenty of serious pain medications in Thailand, over the counter. If one doesn't have what you want, try some others. But I buy tramadol, over the counter, without prescription.
