Hi, I have a question. I own a one-person company in Poland. What documents might the embassy require from me to obtain a DTV visa? The obvious one is the company registration document, but what other documents might be required? I will be applying for a visa in Poland in Warsaw.
I was just denied the DTV visa at Savannakhet because they wanted the original remote work letter from my company, and I only had a printout (and presumably they needed original bank statements also). They needed the documents to have signatures, although not sure if that means original signature with ink, or a copy of a signature. And from the previous posts here it seems to me that other people submit simple printouts and that gets accepted?
So my questions to who went through this already are:
- When you applied in-person, did you have to bring all originals with signatures/stamps, or just printouts?
- How would you possibly get an original bank statement if your bank is in Europe? You'd have to get it mailed to you?
And lastly
- Since they're moving to an online system next month, do I understand correctly that they won't be requiring originals anymore? Since a PDF file is not an "original" in a sense that it doesn't have a genuine signature, unless we're talking about digital cryptographic signatures (which is probably not what they're looking for).
