Hi everyone,

I’m planning to apply for a DTV (Workation) visa at the Thai Embassy in Warsaw (Poland) and I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have already been through the process.

I already have the following documents prepared:

• Certified translation of my B2B contract and the annex

• Letter from the company confirming permission to work remotely from Thailand

• Company registry extract (CEIDG) in English confirming active business activity

• Passport photo taken 2 days ago

• Bank statements for the last three months: September, October, November

My questions:

1. Should I also provide a certified translation of a December bank document confirming my current balance?

At the moment there’s no option yet to download the full December statement.

2. As proof of residence in Poland, is a photo/scan of my national ID card plus a certificate of permanent residence registration sufficient?

Or would it be safer to also include something like a Revolut transaction statement showing payments in Polish stores (I use it for daily expenses)?

3. I’ve seen that applicants are often asked for scans/photos of all passport pages and a boarding pass from the last return to Thailand.

In my case, I returned from Thailand to Germany by plane, and then traveled to Poland by private car. Could this be an issue?

4. In the visa application form, I need to provide flight dates and accommodation.

Is a Booking.com reservation that is not prepaid (since everything depends on the visa approval) acceptable?

5. Does the length of the accommodation booking matter?

Would one week be enough, or is it better to book two weeks or longer? I only need a hotel at the beginning and then plan to rent an apartment locally.

6. Is there something more that I should prepare?

Thanks in advance for any insights or experiences 🙏
