ORIGINAL POSTERI want to share my experience applying DTV online at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I am a Malaysian working remotely as a freelance social media manager for a Malaysia company.
It took a few days for them to request additional documents from me which includes proof of 6 months stay in Thailand , pay slips for the last 6 months, certified employment agreement and copy of all pages in the passport.
They did mention that for Malaysia employment contract certification , it should also be done at Wisma Putra. I got the employment agreement first stamped at LHDN , then authorised at Wisma Putra. It was a one day errand and the application was reviewed after the submission of the requested documentation and was approved the next day.
