Save me a wasted journey to Jomtien immigration, does anyone have a full check list for 1st extension. Arrived on non-0 retirement. Own condo, bank account 2yrs old and money been maturing for 2yrs also. I intend calling at bank on the morning of going to immigration, they're good as gold and will give me everything from them that is required.
Answer summary
When applying for the first extension of a Non-O retirement visa at Jomtien immigration, you typically need the following documents: 1. Valid passport with copies of data page and visa page. 2. Yellow house book or certificate of residence (if applicable). 3. Completed TM30 form. 4. Bank certificate and recent bank statement (showing at least 800,000 THB, seasoned for 2 years). 5. Two passport-sized photos (4x6 cm). 6. ID card copy of house owner (if renting). It's advisable to verify specific requirements with the immigration office, as they may vary.

Sounds straight forward. That being the case an agent shouldn't charge too much and a fail safe way to go.

Make sure your phone is registered in your name. I think you have to go to your phone shop & get a note proving it

Alan Bow a phone in your name is usually a requirement to open bank account. Not usually a requirement for visa/extension.

Most immigration offices will want a couple of copies of completed TM30, bank letter and statement, copies of passport data and stamp/visa pages, completed TM7 with pp photos. Some offices may require additional documents like map to home etc. As above, best yo enquire at the office you will be using
