Such a shame that they have not put in more thought in the interior design. Bar lights are way too bright and the rest is too dark. Basically sitting in a spotlight. Mediocre choice of music; regular thai pop songs. When I was there, they had an animation movie on the tv. Staff hanging around and playing on their phones in Thai style. All in all, not really what you would expect from a speakeasy establishment.
The cocktails are pretty much in the same price range as Darkness and Ronin (~450 THB), but the service is better at those places. One thing that they do different is that they don’t have a menu. So you can leave it completely up to them and see how they can “read” you.
That having said, I was done earlier than my partner with my drink. So the boss came over and said to the bartender to make me a specific drink. I thought he was just being generous as I wasn’t asked for another nor would I have wanted one, but since he made the move by himself, I just went along. To my surprise I was charged for that drink when I wanted to pay. I don’t mind to pay for what I consume, but not really appreciating these kind of practices.
The no-menu thing makes it somewhat an experience but other than that there are better places to go to
