Cool, relaxed bar with unbelievable views

Located in Avani hotel, is good to enjoy drinks while watching the sunset. The seaside is rocky, I was preferring a view with sandy beach ….however the location is cozy decorated and they serve good cocktails. They also have happy hour.

Super friendly service, we enjoyed vegan food, delicious mocktails and a beautiful sunset in the tree house. Reservation recommended.

Very cool place to watch the sun go down! Perhaps the best place on Koh Lanta. The food is also very good, but for the price you expect a little more. (Original) Hele gave plek om de zon onder te zien gaan! Misschien wel de beste plek van Koh Lanta. Eten is ook dikke prima, maar voor de prijs verwacht je toch net iets meer.

Nong Nui (employee) provides good service. Auntie attacked 8 people at the same time and still managed. In the morning, I still come to work in the dining room. The view and the private room-like space were great. There were also seats in the trees. Drinks and food were also delicious. The food is the same as the hotel menu, so it must be made at the hotel. No matter what I ask, the problem doesn't come up. I asked the staff for various things, but they always forgot and never came out. Even when I asked for things such as hawks, plates, and insect repellent, nothing came out. I gave up and ate with my hands and ended up getting bitten by bugs. As expected, the level of service provided by this staff is low and troubling. The view and the food are delicious, so I think if they try a little harder, things will get better. (Original) 景色、個室みたいな空間が良かった。 木の上にも席があった。 飲み物、食べ物も美味しかった。食べ物はホテルのメニューと一緒だからホテルで作ってるのでしょう。 問題は何を頼んでも出てこない。スタッフの人たちに色々頼んだが、毎回忘れられて出てこない。ホーク、お皿、虫除けなどなど頼んでも出てこない。諦めて手で食べて、虫に刺されてた。 流石にこのスタッフ対応レベルは低くて困る。 ビューも料理も美味しいから、もう少し頑張ってくれれば、良くなると思います。

The view is what gets you back. Foods nice. Drinks are good but price gets you. Well worth the visit for the view and a feed just dont forget a few extra baht to cocer the pricey menu

One of the Best Places to see Sundowner at Koh Lanta

Crazy prices for Thailand a pad of Thai for 240b I already had some for 80 at other places. I ordered a mango smoothie which was just mango juice with ice for which I had to pay 180b. In most markets you can buy 3 different types of fresh fruit as a smoothie and pay 30b. When you lie on the mattresses you can feel the staff walking past every few minutes. Very commercial, not a single rasta around and everything very new. So far the worst reggea bar I've been to in Thailand. I was really disappointed with an expensive trip here and it really wasn't worth it. It's just a resort and not a cool rasta bar like you usually see in Thailand. In the end I had to pay 30b for the service because I ordered everything at the bsr and they only brought me my food. Wenn man auf den matratzen liegt spürt man alle paar minuten wie das personal vorbei läuft. Sehr komerziell kein einziger rasta in der nähe und alles sehr neu bis jetzt die schlechteste reggea bar in der ich in thailand war. Wirklich enttäuscht war ein teurer ausflug hier hin und es war es wirklich nicht wert es ist hald einfach ein resort und keine coole rasta bar wie man es sonst aus thailand kennt. Dazu musste ich am schluss 30b für den service bezahlen für dass das ich alles an der bsr bestellte und sie mir nur mein essen brachten. Einfach nur dreiste geldmacherei

Beautiful sunsets, but a bit pricey

Really nice location, cool bamboo booths with individual fans, and chilled vibe, but be aware that you’re paying for it. Small beer will run you about 150 with the tax, cocktails 300, and food dishes 300. Sunset happy hour has some better deals on drinks though 😄

A fantastic place for sunset at the Crown Lanta Hotel. Happy hour starts at 630pm and bottled beers are 80 baht. They also serve tapas but we had the pizza which was excellent thin crust pizza from the oven. There are individual cabana style rooms with views of the sunset but you can also opt for bar seating. Breeze was excellent and the sunset lasted around 45 minutes. It was early May when we were there. Very calming to watch the tide come in after the sun went down. And Bob Marley playing on the sound system. Absolutely sublime.

Very disappointing. We went twice and were overcharged twice. Two days ago we ordered food and 2 mocktails at happy hour. The waitress overcharged us at the regular price but was quick to correct it. Tonight we decided to reserve the treehouse for the Songkran Party however we were very disappointed. We arrived at 6pm and the receptionist at Crown Lanta had not reserved our table and so it took a while for them to find us an alternative. We’d also spoken to the staff about the buffet and they specified that there would be a variety of food (naming a few dishes as well) however when we arrived we were disappointed to find out that none of the ones mentioned were available so we decided to order separately off the menu. When we asked for the receipt to pay we noticed we were once again overcharged. We ordered food and 4 chang beers. They had a deal buy 3 get 1 free and it was also happy hour therefore the cost should have been 80++ baht per beer with buy 3 get 1 free coming to 240++ baht in total. We were disappointed to find out they had charged us 115++ baht per beer for the buy 4 get 1 free which came to 345++ baht. It would have been more cost effective to have bought 4 beers separately at 80++ baht per beer which comes to 320++ in total for the happy hour special. After some discussion they finally reduced the price from 345++ to 240++. The reggae bar has a nice design, has great music however the prices are very high and the overcharging was very disappointing especially when you are paying such high prices already.

Great unusual evening, on the beach at sunset, in individual bamboo huts, on stilts, with small mattresses to sit on or lie down to have dinner and listen to the band playing below on the beach. And excellent meals of course. (Original) Super soirée insolite, en bord de plage au coucher de soleil, dans des cases de bambou individuelles, sur pilotis, avec des petits matelas pour s assoir ou s allonger pour dîner et écouter le groupe qui joue en contre bas sur la plage. Et repas exelent bien sur.

Not a reggae bar. A strange array of bamboo "prison cells" in the middle of an upmarket resort. Cool 1 man fire show (tho I feel sorry for the guy dealing with kerosene smoke)

Honeymooning at the Crown Lanta resort, the Crown Reggae is the perfect spot to relax with dinner and drinks, and a soundtrack of gentle ocean waves and plenty of Bob Marley's music. The views over the water are stunning. At night you can see the green glow of fishing boats. My only suggestion would be an update of the playlist, but other than that we loved it.

Nice place, but only on live music days and unlimited snack buffet. The sluggish hotel staff somewhat spoils the impression, because... To order food, drinks and check you have to go to the bar yourself. These shortcomings are compensated by cozy cabins, the sound of the surf, live music and a snack buffet on the days of the event. I don’t recommend visiting on other days: mediocre quality of food for a lot of money and poor service. (Original) Хорошее место, но только в дни живой музыки и снэк буфета без ограничений. Нерасторопный персонал отеля несколько портит впечатление, т.к. для заказа еды, напитков и счета приходится самому идти на бар. Эти недостатки компенсируют уютные кабинки, шум прибоя, живая музыка и снэк буфет в дни его проведения. В другие дни посещать не рекомендую: посредственное качество блюд за немалые деньги и слабое обслуживание.

Terrible. I went for mojitos and chicken fajitas they were one of the worst I’ve ever eaten. You will find more value at your 7 /11. Regarding placement it is very nice and would drop down for a beer a sunset. However that is it.

Nice view of sunset, good selection of cocktails, nice atmosphere with little rooms (booths) giving view to the beach. In the rooms you sit on a mattress, but there are also normal tables in the back, and two treehouse "rooms". They play reggae music (same tracks over and over), and they have regular live performancer on certain nights. You get some complimentary salty snacks to start with. They also offer insect repellant at the tables, which is very useful.
