Such a nice place on the river! We only ate here, but we would love to come back and stay here one day. We went twice and enjoyed very authentic and delicious Thai food made by the owner. Both of them are so kind. We spent an hour or two just chatting and enjoying the sunset together. Hope to see you again one day!

Amazing experience visiting this place. We didn't stay but got to tour the rooms and we will be staying here next time we visit Koh Chang, if the rooms are available. We spent a few evenings here and the owners were both so welcoming and gave great advise on locations to visit on the island. We decide for our last night to eat here as well, the food is homemade style Thai food to which myself had the Panang Curry and my partner the Green Curry, both were probably the best curries I've had on Koh Chang. If you're visiting the island of Koh Chang it's a must to come to this place for a few hours of an evening to relax on the river.

Great little bar to drop in for a beer overlooking the klong and watch the world go by. Also has clean affordable rooms to rent.

Sapparot Bar has a wonderful view of the Blue Lagoon and has steps into the water so you can take a refreshing swim. Kai is great! Stop by for a drink or food or stay with them at their resort.

Just wauw. When you been to Bangkok for about a week and need a place to get away from pollution And the city noise this is the place to go. I dont even have The Words in english to discribe this place. But ill try any way, the hosts are so friendly and you Will feel very welcome here and as the other review say its a 5/5 place to stay. We stayed with Kai and Dean for a few days in January 2016 at the end of our trip to Southeast Asia. Really great hosts and great accommodation, beautifully located on the water. Delicious food, cozy terrace and we even got Kai's scooter for our daily trips. If we end up on Koh Chang again, we would be happy to come back. (Original) Wir waren im Januar 2016 einige Tage bei Kai und Dean zum Abschluss unserer Südostasienreise. Wirklich super Gastgeber und eine tolle Unterkunft, schön am Wasser gelegen. Leckeres Essen, gemütliche Terrasse und wir haben sogar Kai's Roller für unsere täglichen Ausflüge bekommen. Falls es uns nochmal auf Koh Chang verschlägt, kommen wir gerne wieder.

A lot has already been written about the rooms, location, amenities, etc. That's why I'll keep it short... Dean and Kai... we miss you already ;) In the 3 weeks we traveled through Thailand, the time we spent with you was by far the best!!! We will come back just because of the great hosts. (Original) Zu den Zimmern der location, Ausstattung usw wurde schon eine menge geschrieben. Deshalb halte ich mich kurz... Dean und Kai.. wir vermissen euch jetzt schon ;) In den 3 Wochen die wir durch Thailand gereist sind war die Zeit die wir bei Ihnen verbracht haben mit abstand die schönste!!! Wir werden alleine wegen den tollen Gastgebern wieder kommen.

Highly recommended, simple but very clean, the host parents are super friendly and fulfill almost every wish. The view and peace is great! The only drawback is unfortunately no direct beach. If you like peace and comfort and want to paddle to the beach in a kayak, this is the right place for you. There is no breakfast, but there is Thai food fresh from the host mother's wok at almost any time of the day. (Original) Sehr zu empfehlen, schlicht gehalten aber sehr sauber, die Gasteltern super freundlich und erfüllen fast jeden Wunsch. Die Aussicht und Ruhe ist super! Einziges Manko leider kein direkter Strand. Wer auf Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit steht und kurz mit dem Kajak zum Strand paddeln mag ist hier genau richtig. Frühstück gibt es keins allerdings zu fast jeder Tageszeit Thaifood frisch aus dem Wok der Gastmama.

Lovely place on the river, beautiful scenery and close to gorgeous beach. Only downside is that you need transport to get to the bars and restaurants.

Deano

Amazing guesthouse. You might as well call this a resort. Big room. Fresh sheets/pillow cases/towels every day and water bottles put in room, incredible modern shower with actual separation of shower and toilet. Nice TV in the right position with the bed (bring a Chromecast or firestick) and fiber internet! Ultra fast. Cleanest place we've stayed in southeast Asia. Would stay for months of budget allowed. Deano and Kai will be extremely helpful to all your needs. Unlike some people in Thailand they will help you without the commission and get you a quality tour/massage/moto rental just as part of the price. Best part may be Kai's cooking. Great homemade thai food that will rival and beat most restaurants. Good portions, and good price. I think we paid 80 baht for a pad thai which is standard but the portion was awesome and she had no issue cooking vegetarian style for us. The bar is mostly an expat area, lots of regulars, but sometimes young people too (usually staying in the guesthouse). The expats are usually extremely knowledgeable about what and how to go about your life on Koh Chang which is helpful. We had Kai's food at the bar 50% of the time because riding the Moto at night felt dangerous and why do it when you have incredible food at home. Seriously 10/10 and I'm a picky eater. After a little moto accident that ripped my shorts Kai was extremely helpful and even had my expensive shorts sewn by a friend. Done perfectly and they are good as new! Kai is thai and thus can be 5x more helpful than even an expat and her English is better than most if not all Thais I have met. Definitely stay here if you can find an open room, wouldn't stay anywhere else in Koh Chang

Simply one of the most special places to visit in Thailand. Rarely have I come across a place that exceeds all expectations. Beyond star ratings.
