So close to Khao San Road and so far from chaotic, touristy nature of the street. I love this place, I’ve spent 7 days in Bangkok looking for an independent, real place with quality music and atmosphere and this is it! I recommend this place to anyone who likes to bounce to dancehall around good people.

They play drum and bass and jungle. It's a great venue with 3 floors and rooftop smoking lounge. I recognise the owner from when she used to play in Silom many years ago. She is a legend of drum and bass in Bangkok. The people here were really friendly and treat you like a brother. They had DJ Fresh play recently, Goldie, General Levy and more to come.

Amazing spot! Great tunes and wonderful host! Shout out to Brad n Orawan! Their Jerk chicken is out of this world! Old school proper jerk with sauce drizzle on top. Definite must try if you're in the mood for some Jamaican jerk chicken. They have events and great dj's coming down too. Caught the legendary General Levy here!

Iree Bar in Bangkok: Where Music and Good Times Collide! Last weekend, I embarked on a musical adventure that led me to Iree Bar in the heart of Bangkok. The occasion? A General Levy concert that promised to be a night not to miss. I had heard rumors of Iree Bar's legendary party vibes, but nothing could prepare me for the exceptional night we experienced. As I entered the bar, I was met with an eclectic mix of patrons. The place was a melting pot of locals and expats, all united by their passion for music and, well, a good old-fashioned boogie. The bar itself exuded character with its neon signs and quirky decor, setting the stage for an unforgettable night. General Levy took the stage, and it was like a musical tornado had touched down. The crowd erupted in dance, unleashing moves that hadn't seen the light of day since the '90s. General Levy's energy was infectious, and I found myself shouting "Incredible!" like a British MC hyping up the crowd. The highlight of the evening? When General Levy broke into "Incredible," the crowd collectively lost its marbles. I swear the roof was shaking as we chanted along. The bar staff were working overtime, dishing out drinks faster than you could say "Jungle is massive." What made the night truly special was the atmosphere at Iree Bar. It wasn't just about the music; it was the people, the energy, and the laughter that filled the air. Iree Bar managed to capture the essence of a proper night out – and then some. General Levy and Iree Bar were a match made in party heaven, and I left with a heart full of memories and dancing feet that would be sore for days. So, if you find yourself in Bangkok looking for good vibes, people and music, make Iree Bar your destination. You won't just dance; you'll groove, laugh, and make memories that'll have you smiling for years to come. Trust me; it's "Incredible!"

This little find made our stay in Bangkok all the more special. With a great welcoming vibe provided by Elle, alongside the rest of the amazing people who are part of Irie, the music simply takes over and we ended up having such a fun and heartwarming night. I’ve been there twice in the weekend. Friday for Drum & Bass and Sunday for reggae and dub. Proper music, good vibe and people made me return on Sunday. Reasonable price for drinks. I was lucky to choose the right place.

This place is awesome. Great dancehall jams from amazing DJs, fantastic food with jerk Jamaican fare from Mac and cheese to jerk chicken burger and omg the kratom drinks are awesome. Most of all. The owners Elle and Bradley make everyone welcome. Highly recommended.

Beautiful food, superb flavours - genuinely one of the best places to eat if you’re tired of Thai food in Bangkok.

Irie is a great bar where the food is crafted with care. The music is amazing thanks to the skills of fly DJ Elle and owner Bradley! We spent a couple of nights in Bangkok and visited this gem a few times!!! Chilled vibe, good food and friendly staff...really recommend it! Especially if you want to escape the "madness" of the adjacent famous Khao san road. Ps special thanks to Charly who recommend this place!🙏🙂

I can't understand the many good reviews. The taste of the chicken is very bland, I was very happy because of the high ratings, but was unfortunately disappointed. The price is also high for what it offers. (Original) Ich kann die vielen guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Das Hähnchen ist geschmacklich sehr fad, hatte mich aufgrund der hohen Bewertungen sehr gefreut, war leider enttäuscht. Auch der Preis ist für das Angebot hoch.

Quaint Jamaican spot with chill vibes, delicious chicken and beer. They’ve got vinyl decks and I’ve heard it gets popping with good tunes some days after dinner. Will definitely come back out.

As a huge fan of Jamaican food I wholeheartedly welcome this place with open arms. But the last three experiences ordering from this place. I have to include that it is too over priced for what it is. I happen to make jerk sauce myself (with habanero instead of scotch bonnet). The first time I ordered the food got cancelled because it wasn’t open yet🥲all that can be forgiven. Even though it was a great inconvenience I ordered again the second time some jerk chicken with rice and peas, Mac and cheese and beef patty. Everything was spot on and delicious. But the beef patty, delicious as it is was ridiculously pricey at 160 a small piece. For that price you should put two or even three in there. Because it’s even more expensive than in the UK. And there are no excuses for having lack of rare ingredients when it comes to meat patties, yes for ackee and codfish or mannish waters perhaps but not for patty. Anyway the third time ordering I was left bitterly disappointed as the jerk chicken was dry had no jerk sauce on it, I ask for some more jerk sauce and wasn’t given any. I really would like the place to excel and I’m willing to change my review and up the stars for you. But please consider the pricing. It’s too expensive even for someone who’s willing to pay and have enough money. And please also make more patties and do chicken curry or goat curry that Jamaicans are known and loved for. The ingredients for these things won’t be so hard to find or expensive.

Absolutely delicious. Chicken is full of flavor, juicy, charred and smokey. You can tell it’s cooked over a real BBQ. Rice, slaw and drinks were just as delicious. Would highly recommend this place
