Purchased what was supposed to be 600mg of THC in the form of edibles. The package said there were 6 pieces, which would be 100mg each whereas most gummies are 10mg each.
But the budtender said it was the most popular option that a lot of customers liked, so I plunked down 650 baht for them.
But when I opened the package, there were 8 pieces of different sizes, which was confusing.
Since I normally only take 30mg, I ate one of the larger pieces thinking that it might be a bumpy ride... But over 2 hours later, I still felt nothing so I ate 2 more smaller pieces, and eventually felt something, though not a lot.
So...3 pieces out of 8 should've been something like 600mg/8 pieces * 3 pieces = 225mg, which would be 7.5x my normal dosage, which means I should've been in outer space.
In other words, while I did feel something, it's a major rip off.
Clearly, the cannabis market could use some tighter controls and testing to make sure that what places advertise is what they're actually selling, and that all dosages are consistent and equal.
