I opened an account with SCB Hua Hin. Used my rental agreement as proof of residence. It was a few years ago so things may have changed. I suggest you take a Thai friend with you - always helps a lot.

But to be on safe side I would complete it and have it ready just in case.

Same for me. I offered it at COE check and Immigration - both said they didn’t need it.

I’m UK resident. I checked with RTE London and they confirmed copy of Council Tax bill or Utility bill is fine. I used Council Tax bill to get my TR Visa - no problems.

I didn’t book anything before applying for 60 day VISA. VISA online application asks for flight details so I just went on Emirates website, selected a flight but before paying I just printed the itinerary and attached that to the application. 60 day VISA online application process doesn’t ask for ASQ details. You need to book & confirm flights and ASQ to complete the final stage of COE. Hope that helps.

Hi Simon. I’ve just done TR VISA (60+30) from UK. Just finalising my COE and flying out mid Dec. It’s all pretty straight forward - just takes a while so you have to be patient. Happy to talk you through it if you want - DM me. As it happens I’m also in Leeds 😃

I think all applications need to be done online now (for UK at least). When you apply online it tells you which documents to upload. It’s pretty straightforward, just make sure you click save after each upload as the system has a habit of bombing out.
