Ok, I also thought the visa will be used instead of the 30 day exempt. I also think the visa will be stamped 'used' so re-entry permit is not possible anymore ? (I mean although the valid to date says still valid). Think the 'used' stamp overrules that date.
I think so too. It's a bit of a strange one. Acquaintance wants, after 2-3 weeks in Thailand, to go on holiday to Malesia in the first month. Thats why he thought of this construction. Thanks for reply. I hope maybe more answers later.
Ok. Went to imm. Nakhon Ratchasima and for next 90 day notification they put in the end date (8 jan.) from my year extension. Next month I go for my second year extension so let's see what happens then. 8 jan. still stands or I get e new (reset) term from the date I get my year extension. Cheers all !
Aha, OK Thanks for answers. It's the Nakhon Ratchasima/Korat imm. office. Not SO important, I know but let you know in 2 weeks when I'm there. Thanks again !!
And just an extra option: If you leave the country and come in the country again BEFORE the enddate of your visa (july 2019) then you will stamped in for an extra year of stay. But.......BEWARE. That year is only SINGLE entry. So if you leave and come in in that year, you have to arrange a re-entry permit ! Good luck !
But is'nt that Bull from the UK Embassy ? I mean for the dutch income statement ("visumondersteuningsbrief", nice word) as you know, you have to show, besides copy passport, your income from pension fund or other income, and the deposit of this money for 2 months on y'r bank account. I have it sent to my Thai bank account but dutch account is also OK i guess. So think for an embassy this is prove enough I should think. And as a sample they can/must check some times. Hope for now, this not happens in the Dutch embassy too. Greetzzz
