COVID-19 testing requirements

Unvaccinated passengers must take a COVID‑19 test within 72 hours before departure to Thailand. Antibody and blood tests are not acceptable for travel.

From 1 July 2022, Thai authorities will accept the following COVID‑19 tests: RT‑PCR, PCR, Pro ATK, Antigen, Nucleic acid, NAT and LAMP.

Note:

Children below 6 years old are exempt from the COVID‑19 testing requirement regardless of nationality but are required to travel with their parents.

Unvaccinated/not fully vaccinated children between 6 and 17 years old who are travelling with unvaccinated/not fully vaccinated parents must present their individual COVID‑19 test result.

Children below 18 years old who are travelling with fully vaccinated parents are exempt from vaccine or COVID‑19 testing requirements.

COVID‑19 test result must be issued within 72 hours before travelling to Thailand.

Self ATK will not be accepted for air travel.

Vaccination requirements

To be considered fully vaccinated, you must have received the last required dose (as required) of a COVID‑19 vaccine at least 14 days before your travel date.
