done my TM 30. Got the notification slip. But no certificate of residence because my extension stamp was issued in another province. Just another way of making life difficult.
I have just been told the same. My Visa extension was issued in Bangkok because I was there when I needed to get it. I have lived in Issan for 3 years, done many 90 day reports and just filed tm30 after returning from UK. In spite of this and the fact I have obtained two certificates of residence in the past local immigration will not issue me another one to re new my driving license. They say I must go back to Bangkok for it where I no longer have an address. It is absurd that they register your residence with one process but then will not for another.
I went to do it myself in Nakhon Phanom with all the required documents. The Officer insisted on speaking to my Landlady for about 20 minutes. When I asked my Landlady what was said she told me that she was given a hard time for sending me in without her. Next time she was told to do it herself.
x 3 on that one. I recently did my tm30 which proves my residence but the office still wont give me a certificate of residence which requires exactly the same information!!!!
It's just as annoying when those that post a reply have not read or understood the question or even just admit to not knowing after posting a few wild guesses.
