Be careful. Some offices, mine being one of them, insist on 3 months before applying for extension so best go and ask at your IO. I came very close to coming unstuck!
you apply for 90 days first at the end of which you apply for 12 month extension stamp. All done within Thailand but give yourself plenty of time on your initial 30 day Visa exempt entry.
Depends on the office and my office has changed from not wanting to wanting another registration quite recently. I think they now have a computer that makes it easier to see that you have been staying out of province.
I agree with you but you have to choose your agent carefully. I used an agent for two years and they did a great job. I had no problems in my home province or when entering or leaving the Kingdom. I have now been able to meet the criteria and have obtained my extension myself locally.
I asked about this at my local office to the senior officer. Her reply was that she would accept the Wise transfer note as proof of international transfer. But she added that next year she might not be the boss and whoever was might not accept it. Back to square one.
I did manage to get off the agent provided Visa and get one locally at my immigration office myself. I had been warned at bkk that I should get my next extension myself so I did with a little perseverance. I was required to have
