Be careful those who are planning to go to RTCG Savannakhet to apply for visas.
Currently all are booked for the first two weeks already. Their appointment system is open for only 14 calendar days slots. There were still available early this morning but all gone now.
4th June is the earliest you can go to samui office. if Samui doesn’t accept your application with 45 days early (means their application window policy is within the last 30 days) you can try to ask with proof of fixed air ticket that can exactly show that you are out of Thailand during application window.
The worst case is they say no, it’s too early. In that case you have to apply for the initial Non-O from scratch.
Sadly, you cannot "convert" your entry stamp on Non-O marriage to a Thai, at least immediately.
As you are entering on a multiple-entry visa, you are on an entry stamp. If you want to do in Thailand, you must apply for a 1-year extension based on being married to a Thai at least once. <- which means you need to be on an extension for the same reason for your entry stamp. Once you are on an extension, you can change the reason for the next 1-year extension or when your current reason stops.
Otherwise, you have to get Non-O based on retirement first.
Anyway, you can use your current multiple Non-O visa until it's expired, in October this year to enter for another 90 days.
, yes, that is the immigration office depending. But as clearly in police order, you can appeal if they ask you to show bank account while you have 100%-covered embassy affidavit..
, it’s not available at any Thai embassy on eVisa application system since late last year. There still be many people who have multiple entry visa issued before that as Non-immigrant type multiple entry visas are valid for one year.
As of today, multiple entry Non-O visas are available for specific reasons still at some Thai embassy/consulate around SEA where you apply for a visa in person
You can enter on your valid Non-OA visa on or before the "must be used by" date to get another 1-year (maximum) entry stamp. To enter on a valid Non-OA, you need to have insurance coverage of more than one day as of the entry date. You will be stamped either an earlier date of: 365 days or insurance policy validity, the same way you entered for the first time.
You don't even need a Thai bank account as long as you can get an affidavit of income from your embassy in Thailand for a new yearly extension application.
In case you cannot get an affidavit for next year, you need to have 800k baht in a Thai bank account for 2 months or 65k monthly international transfers for 12 months as of the application date for your next yearly extension.
