the latest day you can apply for another 1-year extension without any problem is the last day on your stamp. So this year, it would be 9 August (because of calendar)

both the letter and passbook records have date. as I wrote Bangkok accepts the letter up to 7 days old. Shouldn't be a problem in Bangkok.

If you surely have a valid Multiple Entry Tourist Visa, you can try the local immigration office to see if they can correct the stamp. As he entered by air, the correction at the immigration office is supposed to be possible.

The worst case is they say no. Then he has to go to the entry airport (where he was stamped in) to get it corrected.

. The re-entry counter is located along with the overstay fine counter in the small room behind the passport control counters. Tell the officer you need a re-entry permit at passport control. She will give you a direction.

You bring only your passport, they will do forms, copies, photos, then you pay the official fee + 200 baht "service fee'.

You have all the necessary documents, you pay only the official fee.

, what do you mean by '"with" a 2 month extension'? That IS only 2-month (60-day) extension and you can apply for it ONCE for a visa entry.

Check your local immigration office. Some accept both handwritten and/or google map. Some only accept handwritten map. Some others accept only google map.

This post is not for poll for which office accept which map.

This post is not going to collect "what happened to me with the wrong stamp" cases.

I think OP already know what her friend has to do.

Thank you, everyone.

Usually, this group doesn't allow "for a friend" posts as posters cannot provide necessary and precise information in most cases. This was approved as it has the correct information in the photos.

If you or your friend have further questions, let your friend post by himself.

If in Bangkok, go to the IT Square Laksi Plaza office.

The worst case is they say no. Then he has to go to Suvarnabhumi airport (where he was stamped in) to get it corrected.
