All bs mate. Just bring in savings already accumulated. No tax to pay

The DTV is issued by MFA, not by immigration. MFA seem to be more interested in bringing people into the country in large numbers, and it seems it's working. There's not many visas required a criminal check so that's nothing new

Just get your partner to get their own DTV. So easy to get. 10,000 baht for FIVE YEARS. It's a bargain!

And many who have lived here for years on clunky non-O visas, ready to switch to DTV to make life easy. Watch the decline in "retirees" and the upsurge in "digital creators"

Anybody can be eligible. I've been retired years but I'm making a comeback as a "digital creator" in order to get the easy-DTV, as I'm sure many retirees and tourists will

Re-read what you replied to. Steve said you'll need onward travel to BOARD YOUR FLIGHT. You said "incorrect". Now you're saying you MAY be required. Can you see the inconsistencies? Perhaps not. Never mind

@Rob ******
I & many others have been asked to show onward travel, that's not opinion it's a fact.

Best you advise the OP to take a screenshot of your comment and show it to the airline when he's denied boarding 😂😂😂

@Rob ******
I've been asked to show onward ticket many times over the years. It is Thai law although seldom applied by immigration, but a person can be denied boarding which means a rush to book an onward flight. A Facebook post is not "proof" of anything

Information is confusing because there isn't any. Everyone has a different history of staying in Thailand on tourist entries and the only person who knows whether you will have problems or not is the immigration officer who deals with you when you arrive. If you are even asking this question perhaps you need to think about getting a proper visa, as it suggests you may be thinking yourself that you might have overstayed your welcome.
