Do I need an affidavit from the U.S. consulate for my Non Immigrant O visa extension in Chiang Mai?

No, you don't need a certificate of residency. Your wife will have needed to file a TM30 for you, stating you're staying at her house. You need a copy of the receipt with you. If she hasn't done the TM30 already, tell her to go with you next week. Bring house book and Id card, takes a couple minute.

I didn't go out Wednesday, I did see all the water drama though. Thursday and Friday Chiang Mai deployed the military into the city to prevent anymore water splashing though. These photos were Friday night.
