I dont know what way expensive ones would of been different but I had not one complaint about my stay . The food was great , great staff , you messaged them they respond quickly with your request . Air con was great . Best 30,000baht I've spent in relation to getting food and hotel accommodations for 16 days

Do I need to buy travel insurance or just medical insurance for the STV visa in Thailand?

Yes for STV you need to show Covid-19 insurance which shows coverage of at least 100,000usd and you need to show medical insurance that shows inpatient amount of 400,000baht and outpatient amount of 40,000baht . I think that's right
