Vietnam. Jakarta are very popular and there are lots of posts to help with your application. Laos is good but can take 3-4 weeks.

The sponsorship letter should detail that you/husband, as the primary visa holder, will be financially responsible for your kids and confirm their status as your dependents. You need to mention your DTV visa number in the letter.

Have you checked posts on Malaysia? It is the strictest embassy to give approval for a DTV. It is likely you will need to show the 500K in both you and your husband's account. The children can be supported via both finances.
