Where are you applying? It should not be a problem with 2 recent top ups. Many will have down the same. I just deposited the 500K a week or so before submission in Taipei.

ok i get it now.. There is the new one via kaiskorn bank, just purchase their prepaid card and gain qr code payment access.

Ok, it's possible to get a bank account but long term leases are a must. Why don't you use WIse. I'm same as you based In Japan going back n forth but have a Thai account via Wise.

With the DTV, many embassies note the expiration date on the 5 year visa. My passport ends 9 months before my 5 year DTV via Taipei ends.

Sounds nonsense but you need that letter giving yourself permission to work remotely in Thailand.
