Yeah, more restrictions will come into play for sure especially with Softpower. The visa is cheap but the country gets significant income as DTVERS are spending on rent, food, travel, etc.

Yeah, small details count such as not seeking local employment etc. Approvals are given for recent deposits of the 500k, and some of the rejections have had the 500k seasoned for 3+ months. It would be helpful if the embassy gave an exact reason for rejection so applicants can avoid the same mistake next time.

Yes, a solid application is key. Maybe as Vietnam seems to be the most popular spot to apply, understandably we are seeing the most rejections from there.

Yes, there are DTVERS outside of Thailand whose Bangkok Bank accounts are frozen. You need to go in person to sort it out.
